Founded in 2014 by Craig Senyk, Board Chair of Mawer Investment Management, philanthropist and country-music lover, Craig Senyk Initiatives’ (CSI) mission is to raise the profile of Canadian country music while generously giving to local charitable organizations. CSI presents country-music events and supports like-minded organizations through promotion and partnership. The annual Jamboree for Charity is its flagship event.

Craig Senyk, Founder, Craig Senyk Initiatives
Craig Senyk is the Board Chair at Mawer Investment Management, which he joined in 1997. For over 25 years, Craig has brought leadership, integrity and a higher standard of excellence to the Canadian investment industry. Craig is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) designation, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta. He has been recognized as one of Calgary’s Top 40 under 40; and in 2022, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of his philanthropic achievements.

OUR LOGO
Incepted in 2014, the Craig Senyk Initiatives logo showcases two C’s intertwining to become an S, displaying how two elements can come together to create something new: something stronger, something better. For us, this primarily alludes to how at Craig Senyk Initiatives, we bring together Canadian Country music and Community investment to create our Signature events.
Not only are the C and S in our logo Craig Senyk’s initials, but they also speak to other things we are passionate about at Craig Senyk Initiatives.
