13th Annual Jamboree for Charity Crushes Fundraising Records!

Jun 13, 2025

What an amazing night celebrating together and enjoying some top-notch Canadian country music while raising funds for Discovery House and their programs to support those impacted by domestic violence. Thanks to your generous donations and other fundraising contributions, we raised a staggering $545,000, crushing all of our previous fundraising efforts! Since its inception, the Jamboree for Charity has raised millions through its events in both Calgary and Toronto. (See our impacted organizations here.)

Said event presenter, and Founder of Craig Senyk Initiatives, Craig Senyk, “Our Jamborees not only raise funds for worthwhile charities, but support Canadian musicians. This year’s Jamboree featured Corb Lund, Tenille Townes,  Alli Walker, Tommy CharlesClayton Bellamy and Jens Lindemann; and also put another $200,000 into the hands of Canadian musicians.

Said event presenter, and Founder of Craig Senyk Initiatives, Craig Senyk, “I am deeply moved by the unwavering generosity of our supporters and sponsors who keep coming back year after year, while stepping up their commitment each time. It’s the highlight of what can happen with the power of community. The work that the team at Discovery House does makes Calgary a better city, while Canadian musicians bring us together to celebrate what we value most in each other.”

Thanks again to all of you who got your boots and hats on to celebrate with us this year. Your attendance and donations really make a difference to those in need. 100% of all donations received through the 13th Annual Jamboree for Charity will go directly to Discovery House.

“We are so grateful to have been a part of the 13th Annual Jamboree for Charity,” said Leslie Hill, Executive Director of Discovery House, “We can’t thank Craig and his team at Craig Senyk Initiatives enough for their vision and generosity, and for making the Jamboree a tremendous success.

To all who attended this incredible event — your enthusiasm, generosity, and belief in a better future for families experiencing domestic violence is truly remarkable. Because of you, Discovery House can provide safety, stability, and support for families for years to come. Thank you.”
