14th Annual Jamboree for Charity raises $507,398 in Support of CASA Mental Health
On June 6, guests gathered in Calgary to enjoy an unforgettable night of world-class Canadian talent while raising vital funds for CASA Mental Health and its mission to provide life-changing mental health care to Alberta children, youth, and families. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors, sponsors, auction participants, and attendees, together we raised $507,398 in support of youth mental health.
Since its inception, the Jamboree for Charity, generously sponsored by Mawer Investment Management, has raised millions of dollars for charitable organizations across Canada through its events in Calgary and Toronto. This year’s event continued that tradition of impact while bringing together an exceptional lineup of Canadian artists, including Alan Doyle, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Kalsey Kulyk, Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys, and Kelsi Mayne on Saturday night; and new talent Kreesha Turner, Annika Catharina, Celin, Emmet Jerome, Lucette, Jaiden Riley and Alycia Hebert at Friday night’s Blue Jay Sessions. The two-day event also put another $150,000 into the hands of Canadian musicians, reinforcing the Jamboree’s ongoing commitment to supporting Canadian artists and the country’s vibrant music community.
“We are continually inspired by the generosity of our supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and guests,” said Craig Senyk, Founder of Craig Senyk Initiatives and presenter of the Jamboree for Charity. “The Jamboree is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together around a common purpose. CASA Mental Health is transforming the lives of children and families across Alberta, and we are honoured to support their important work. At the same time, we’re proud to celebrate and support Canadian musicians who bring so much joy and connection to our communities.”
The evening was a celebration of Canadian music, philanthropy, and community spirit, with 100% of all donations received through the 14th Annual Jamboree for Charity directed to CASA Mental Health.
“On behalf of everyone at CASA Mental Health, thank you to Craig Senyk Initiatives, our generous partners and every guest who helped make this year’s Calgary Jamboree such a tremendous success,” said Bonnie Blakley, CEO, CASA Mental Health. “Your support will help ensure that more children, youth and families can access the specialized mental health care they need, when they need it most. Together, we are creating stronger communities across Alberta.”
To everyone who put on their boots and hats and joined us for this special evening—thank you. Your generosity and commitment to giving back will have a lasting impact on the lives of countless children and families.
If you haven’t yet had a chance to contribute, donations can still be made in support of CASA Mental Health.
