ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

For nearly two decades, Dallas Smith has been delighting fans with his country music. His career album, Lifted, has earned him both critical acclaim and an armful of JUNO and CCMA Award wins and nominations. Smith has four number #1 country hits in Canada and is rapidly growing his fan base in the U.S., most recently receiving American media acclaim in Rolling Stone Country. Last fall, Smith joined Keith Urban as his special guest of the “ripCORD World Tour 2016”, that included an appearance at the first ever show to take place at the all-new Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, making Smith the first Canadian artist to step on the main stage.

Aaron Goodvin first made a name on the Canadian country music scene as a songwriter, placing a track with Luke Bryan, before stepping out as a solo artist. His debut single, “Knock On Wood,” was a Top 40 hit at Country radio in Canada and opened the door for the Top 10 follow up smash hits “Woman In Love” and “Lonely Drum.” Originally from Spirit River, Alberta, Aaron has a natural ability to light up a stage and connect with his audience, like only a good small-town country boy can.

Natives of Cambridge, Ontario, their single, “Hometown Kids” shows the duo exploring the nostalgic staples of their hometown. A fun, young and energetic entry on the country music scene, the duo was accepted into the Canadian Country Music Association Discovery Program in 2013.
